Velvet is big this season as are pleated midi skirts, satin suits, sequin dresses, and suede and plaid suits.

Velvet is NO longer just for eveningwear. Jazz up your wardrobe this season with this luxurious trend incorporating your transitional wardrobe with oversized velvet blazers, velvet pants, and velvet ankle boots just to name a few. Jeans with velvet boots are hot as are plush velvet tops that replace your tried and true t-shirt adding a bit of mystery and funkiness to your wardrobe either during the day or at night.

Color trends to keep an eye out for this fall include wine, navy blue, okra yellow, cognac, and emerald green.

Narrowly pleated midi skirts are a go-to this season. Pair them with patterned silk blouses, gold layered statement necklaces and a tuxedo jacket effortlessly tossed over your shoulder for that sexy evening look. The midi skirt is key in creating the ideal fall outfit that will work well from daytime into the evening. For a daytime look, throw on a cropped leather jacket, Wolford tights and slouchy boots.

Satin suits, in bold navy blue or wine colors have been making the statement for the fall/winter 2017/2018 season.
A slightly more subtle interpretation would be a monochromatic blouse paired with a wide-leg trouser. This look delivers just enough elegance for a social gathering without looking over the top while remaining classic and on trend. For a more casual and easygoing look, choose an oversized mock neck sweater, casually tucked inside the front of your trouser while leaving the rest out the back for a more relaxed, effortless look.

Sequin dresses are making a comeback and it’s about time!!! Add a navy or okra yellow sequin dress to your closet and instantly it will be your go to glamorous, feel good favorite dress.

Suede is another trend we are seeing on the runway this year with faux suede pants (faux-= easy maintenance). They make any casual outfit more interesting and versatile. Not only is the fabric great for the cold winter season but it is also more comfortable than wearing jeans unless of course your jeans are by MAC jeans – Soooo comfortable).

Consider investing this fall in a wide-leg trouser, ankle sock-boot and oversized sweater for an effortless and cozy style. Perfect for that tailored or bohemian look depending on your own personal style.

Double layered coats for the fall and winter are versatile and practical. These menswear inspired style coats provide an inner nylon padded bib for extra warmth that easily zips out. Wear this updated peacoat two ways; with or without the insert. Perfect for a sporty casual look and for more refined occasions.

Ankle sock boots offer a new look for your feet this season. The slouchy ankle boots are a go-to that will match any ensemble you come up with. Thicker heels for greater all day comfort and snug leather/velvet wrapped around your leg just above your ankle give your legs a more elongated and shapelier look.

Delicate layered gold necklaces have taken over this season. Gold jewelry adds a beautiful touch to the this seasons new color trends. Navy, gold or wine colored clothing accented with gold jewelry instantly turns an ordinary outfit into something rich and elegant.

Plaid suits have been a hit sashaying down the European runway this fall. We suggest combining a matching plaid jacket and pants together with a beautiful burgundy silk blouse. Just enough color to give it some flair. Another interpretation of this trend could be a wide legged plaid trouser, paired with a crisp white cotton blouse layered under a colorful sleeveless coat. If you are feeling daring, we suggest adding a velvet ankle boot.
